every woman that i know has a trashy man in there lives....i surround myself, with beautiful, intelligent people, and the men are all the same...

Maybe these women are attracted to "trashy" guys or they are attracting "trashy" guys. Truth is sometimes nice guys do finish last, especially if they don't make their move. If a woman is only approached by trashy men then she'll be with a trashy man. In our society women don't go get who they want, they only choose from the men who have chosen (approached) them. Some women tend to fall for a "bad boy" facade.While good guys who dont want to act in a way that is not genuine get passed over.

Think about what you said-how can these women be intelligent people if they have chosen to be with "trashy" men. The only way men can and will be trashy is if they are with a woman who allows it. That is the sad part-men test the waters to see how much they can get away with, but they respect the woman who respects herself and they won't respect someone who puts up with "trashy" It is a vicious cycle, but men have become what they have due to the lowered standards women have degraded themselves into. And I agree with you, men these days have gotten progressively trashy.

Obviously, every woman you know wants a trashy man. Believe it or not, we're not all trashy. I have to admit that I see a lot of beautiful, intelligent women with guys who are like the scum of the earth. I figure this is what they want. You know, we nice guys always finish because many women don't like us. They prefer the macho tuff guy who treats them like you know what. They always complain but continue to choose these guys.

I blame it on the theory that women like "bad boys".
If the men treat a woman nice, he'll always hear "I just want to be friends". For women, there's no excitement in a relationship with a "nice guy". And if a nice guy likes a woman, then the woman can snap her fingers and he'll do anything she asks of him. Again, no excitement in that type of relationship. "Bad Boys" are exciting to women.

I have a wonderful ability to not be trashy but it's a defense mechanism to protect myself from people who would rather judge than perceive, who'd rather condemn than enjoy, who'd rather not know who I am anyways.
Luckily I surround myself with beautiful, intellectual, feelers who wouldn't dare judge me for being my wonderful, socially-oblivious self.

I'm a white collar worker i where nice office clothes everyday, i shower every day, i brush my teeth twice a day. please rephrase your question to something like "why are some men these days so trashy" so you don't have to worry about getting responses like mine. You'll get better answers if you don't generalize so much.

not all of us are like that,we have a saying in my country,cambia tu manera de pensar y cambiaras tu manera de vivir,meaning that if you keep on having those thoughts about all men,you will only meet those types but if you start thinking positive and start saying that there are some good guys,then you will meet nice guys.
