Try not to speak so much. Try not to eat really cold food or drink, it will shrink up the muscle in your voicebox(not very good for an audition). During the audition. Do not focus on what their thinking. Focus only on your music. If you can...don't even look at them. Try to look as if you singing to your audience Behind them. It will help nerves. Don't forget to breathe. Don't add anything unessesary like extra vibrado or improvisation. Stick to your music. Try to think for what they are looking for. Volume or drama? Usually volume. Try to project your voice, but not in an extreme way. If the song is high try to push a little more air. If the song is very low, use chest voice but try not to sound like arethra franklin. They are probobly looking for a clear, crisp tone. Try to go for that. REMEMBER! Do not even think your performing, because your not. Do not stop when you make a mistake, because you know you can do better.
During an audition I usually start the piece softly then grow alittle more every phrase so I don't kill myself in the first few measures. But don't be too soft so they can't hear you. Above all try to keep a clear tone. I hope this helps!

Rest your voice as much as possible between now and the audition. Drink plenty of fluids, but NOT caffeine!!! Caffeine will actually dry your vocal cords making matters worse. Hot herbal tea with honey and/or lemon can work wonders. Have a bottle of water with you before the audition and keep sipping.

Rinsing with warm salt water can help fend off a sore throat as well.

DEEP BREATHING can calm your nerves AND help your singing!!! So be sure to BREATHE!!!

Oh, and don't whisper thinking it will help save your voice - whispering is actually HARDER on your vocal cords! If you must talk, try talking in a light, kind of higher pitched voice. That will be less stress on your vocal cords.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Gargle or even drink a little WARM salt water. It's disgusting but it helps. Sucking on a lemon also works. Peppermints also help clear out your throat.

The basic thing for your audition is to BREATHE! If you can control your breathing then you're basically set!
