if i had to pick, it would be because i dont want to follow an organized religion in general. i dont want to be labeled as "one of them"
but more-so i dont have a definite stance on the existance of god. i only have my personal beliefs.

Neither
Before--when I believed in God-- I went to a Methodist church, but I never followed the religion exactly and I think for any spiritual person it should be about God--not religion.
The reason I am agnostic is because I do not KNOW if there is or is not a God. I've been through it all in my head a million times and I finally realized when I was 15 that I would never know--so there was no point in worrying about it.

You should look up the definition of Agnosticsm. Agnostics believe neither science or religion can answer all the questions at this time, thus they do not believe in any current organized religion.

I was an agnostic for 10 years because I was afraid to accept the truth of atheism. Then one day I woke up and realized that I could no longer believe the lie. It was if a great burden had been lifted. Everything became clear. No more delusions. No more rationalizations.

It isn't about religion, it's about belief. How can I choose a religion if I don't know whether a supreme being exists, and have no way of ever knowing? I don't have faith. Faith is required to be part of a religion, and I don't have it.
I chose agnosticism, also because I am indifferent to the whole thing. I like discussing different points, but I could care less how the earth started or whether we have an afterlife. None of that affects me now!

I can't seem to find a religion that doesn't glorify war. I live in a country where the Orthodox priests bless the tanks and weapons of mass destruction on 25th March (which is incidentally Virgin Mary Day). Go figure. Much better with just Me and God.

If you believed in God and did not pick a religion you would be adenominational. It is more likely a conflict between heart in head -- wanting one thing to be true, but finding a rational base to choose it lacking.

Organized religion is divisive tribalism--it creates the "us & them" mentality--& is a major source of conflict throughout history.

It is because no religion, organized or otherwise, has defined "God" in a way that makes sense to me.
