windows vista is in my opinion a big mistake for microsoft,its been mis-timed and ill conceived
the first bug mistake microsoft made was to make vista with such high hardware requirements
this means 50% of users either have to upgrade their p.c,s costing hundreds of pounds or buy a new vista enabled system,whichever way its a cost to the user
i shall be staying with xp home for the next few years allthough my p.c is vista ready,
if you want to upgrade ,go for the o.e.m versions of vista as these are much cheaper(around £70 for vista premium)but have less support as they are designed for p.c builders,but still work like upgrades ect

Windows Vista is all about clamping down on what the user can do with, and to, their computer, under the pretext of making computers 'more secure' for use on the internet.

It's about buying a new pc or forking over cash to do major
surgery on your pc to get it to perform to vista specs and
adding more ram.

i do not think even microsoft know!, its a total pile of, xp is much better, i would stick with this if i were you, they probably need to make some more money to keep there place at the top!
