I'm assuming you mean Seagram's VO, which is a mid-market rye.
The classic of course, is the Rye and Ginger (mix rye with gingerale). Personally though, I've always been a huge fan of Manhattans (rye, red vermouth, and a dash of Angustora bitters)

My fav is with a splash of water and a twist of lemon rind. Cut a piece of the rind (about 1/2" by 1") off of the lemon and then twist the rind. This releases the sweet lemon oil. Then rub the rind around the inside of the glass. Many inexperienced bartenders will use a lemon wedge or slice and squeeze it into the drink. If the sour lemon juice gets in the drink, its ruined.
