What colour braces should I get?

Question

I have caramel coloured skin, brown eyes, and brown hair. I'm getting my braces on Tuesday and I'm not worried, but I'd like to know what colours would look nice on me. My friends have suggested pink and blue, pink and yellow, and green and blue. Kay thanks for all your help in advance. Cheers!

To all those people who say I'll look ugly and dorky - almost everyone in my school has them, I'm only 13 and no one will make a big deal out of them. And also, I'm not getting clear ones. I'm not made of money.

Have fun with it! They can change the colors when you go in for your checkup, so if you don't like what you get they can change the color bands :-) I have had to get braces twice in my life once when I was young and I am doing the fast braces now that I'm uhhh old LOL its not big of a deal. Just remember to wear your retainer after they are all done so you don't end up like me :-)

I'm warning you now. Unless you have the whitest teeth ever DO NOT GET WHITE OR YELLOW! The white will turn colors when you eat. You're not going to be able to get to a toothbrush everytime you eat so I don't advise that. Yellow will just bring out the non-white color in your teeth. I normally get black or silver, you can wear anything and your smile won't look dorky say for picture day. (Thats mainly for girls who are color crazed). You might want to practice your smile when you get your braces. My smile used to be AWSOME! not because my teeth were straight but it wasn't as much stuff in my mouth. Have fun : )

What i would because i also have braces i would either get your school colors or you could get rainbow where all of you teeth are a different color. This way you can sample all of the colors and see which one lo ks the best on you. Also if you do get rainbow don't worry because the yellow ones are hidden behind you cheeks when you open your mouth, so don't worry!!! Also this looks SUPER cool!!!!!!!

I always used to get silver ones or white ones. The last thing I wanted was for everyone to be staring at my teeth when I had braces as a kid. I was so self conscious of whether food was to get stuck in there that the last thing I wanted to do was draw attention there.

don't listen to the losers on her tell you you'll look dorky. i have braces. if i were you i would get blue or green. it often looks better to just get one color. it helps people to see you, not your braces. but if your more of a girlie-girl get pink. if your school has team colors it's cool to get those. and remember, you can always change the color when you get them tightened.

I would suggest trying to match your braces to the colors you wear most often. That way you match your own style and you probably already wear colors that match your skin tone, eye and hair color.

light pink and blue, because spring is coming! you don't want anything yellow, yuck it will make your teeth look yellow lol. did you ever consider clear braces? i think they are expensive though. Fortunetly, I have never needed braces.
