My brother and I are throwing my parents a small surprise 25th Anniversary Party. We have lots of friends that live out of town and will not be able to attend. I would like to think of a way to include them: ie. have them send cards, have them send funny stories about my parents, have them send pics of my parent's early life, etc. but I would like for it to be really creative. Please help. Thanks!

I think you are on the right track..have them send pictures of themselves/ themselves with your parents..one or both etc... and cards..but with a single hole punch put a hole in one corner ..tie with string to a helium balloon which will keep them flying in the room ...you parents will feel like these friends are there ... you get the picture ...hopefully some will come as well..good luck

I just got a thing like this in the mail. If your name was Jen I was going to squee that I knew you!

Anyway, she has asked that people email or mail her photos, stories, letters by a certain date and then she is going to assemble them in a scrapbook for her mom to see.

Have them make a message with a camcorder, and send them to you guys. You can edit them and merge them and play them at the party.

Maybe they can include personal notes that you could read out loud at the party....funny stories, something heartfelt...That would be a great gift!!!
