poor you, been there done that and you have my sympathies xxxx

sounds weird but works trust me (my doctor told me this)

lie on your bed with your head laying off the side (in other words with your head upside down) and massage around your eyes using all your fingers and thumb.

don't know why it works but it does relieve the pressure

only do it for 10 mins at a time otherwise you can get a bit light headed.

you can also try the good old sticking your head over a bowl/sink of hot water.

the steam helps to open up your sinuses and gets the pressure going.

Try keeping the window open at night when asleep, have a bowl of water in the room if you have Central heating.
Try buying some menthol crystals from the chemist place in a bowl add hot water place head over and cover with a towel this will open up the sinus and give you some relief.
It sound like you need your sinus washing out and this can be done when your Dr refers you to the hospital, it can be done in a day unit.

Avoid central heating (cos that makes them worse!)
Get lots of fresh air.
Sleep with window open.

Avoid EMOTIONAL UPSETS (that's the cause).

Yeh, steam helps. The bowl, with a towel over your head...
Try Olbas? oil or Euculptus oil (add a few drops to boiling water) (can sting eyes!) (rub into palms) (put on pillow, tissue).

When stuffed up, gently blow nose, don't sniff.

Gently Massage forehead, nose areas- in circular motions when washing (use warm water).

Do excercises, to get circulation moving, & touch toes- if you can & not painful for your head.

Try a sinus mask... You can get them online or at your local pharmacy.
