Physically, I don't think so. However, you can become emotionally addicted to anything. As far as dependence, one could argue that your emotional well-being is dependent on this drug to stay in your body, since fast withdrawl can cause exaggerated depressive symptoms. That's why it is best to slowly come off of these drugs. If you are concerned about it, talk to the doctor who would/does prescribe it.

All drugs are addictive . It varies from person to person some will get addicted others won't.No one know if they will until it happens that's the weird part about drugs

No, but you can't just STOP taking a medication like that. You have to have a professional help you ween yourself off of it.

It's an anti=depressant. Your need for it will disappear when the depression disappears.
