I'm 23 and I have gray hair..in sum spots...only a few..but, I think its from stress. I am just now getting out of a very stressful marriage..its not getting easier yet..so I guess the gray will keep coming...just dye it..cover it up..whether you have it today or tomorrow..you'll eventually get it and have to deal with it in someway!

As we get older, the pigment cells in our hair follicles gradually die. When there are fewer pigment cells in a hair follicle, that strand of hair will no longer contain as much melanin and will become a more transparent color - like gray, silver, or white - as it grows. As people continue to get older, fewer pigment cells will be around to produce melanin. Eventually, the hair will look completely gray.

i mean, if you aren't old... look at taylor hicks! (last year american idol winner.) he was only 25 and had lots of gray hair. many people are different, and maybe your stressed out?? lots of things could be going on.

Blame your great-great grandparents. My hair turned gray before I was 30--it still has more gray than my mother's. If you want to, dye it, although that can be a nuisance.
