From the Firefox browser, Go to Tools, Options and click the privacy tab. Click on Clear Now, be sure Browsing History box is checked and click Clear Private Data Now. If you always want it to be cleared, then uncheck the top two boxes at the top of the Privacy page (the history section).

Hi!
Open up firefox
Go to tools
Click on options
Depending on which version you have it may be in a different place in options, but if you have the latest version, it is in the privacy tab

Hope this helped!
