I went down that road once, but now I understand that looks aren't everything. I think you should get the book: Your Purebred Puppy, and go by that. It's an excellent book!!! What type of dog are you looking for? Check the breed's profiles. Do you want a non-shedding breed or a hypo-allergenic breed? Do you live in an apartment or a house with a yard? Your dog should match your living style. I also recommend a dog breed selector. Here are some sites: http://animal.discovery.com/breedselector/dogselectorindex.do

They help a lot!!

I chose the Havanese. They don't shed, they are a sturdy toy breed, and they can adapt to many envirorments. They are also very cute!!!

Hope this helps!!

I preferably think pit bulls puppies are absolutely the cutest. I have had them all my life and even once they are full size they are still so cute. Also I have now a red nose pit bull she is around 6 1/2 months and is beautiful. So for me personally those two types of dogs are the cutest.

I think the cutest puppies are Beagles. They are so adorable when they are puppies and even cuter when they get big. I just got my Beagle after doing lots of research and thought he was the best Breed and the cutest breed. I also like the fact that they are not big dogs nor are they small dogs...they are medium size dogs and sooooo friendly.

Labradors, Beagles, and Cocker Spaniels are the 3 breeds that I find to maintain puppy cuteness all their lives. Of course, cute is in the eye of the beholder, and I happen to prefer really big ones like Newfies and Great Danes!

Everyone finds a different kind of pup cute, my fav. is a mutt. Many great dogs are put to sleep every day because there are not enough homes for them. Try going to the shelters and find one that is really cute to you and bring em home. Mutts tend to be healthier dogs anyway because they are not inbred (good breeders dont do this, but it happens all the time and if you go to a pet store you dont really know where the dog came from even if its AKC cert.). You will save yourself a boat load of cash too. Anyway you do it, good luck puppies are always fun additions to any family.

ALL dog breeds are cute as puppies. It is better to choose a dog based on activity level, size, grooming requirements, personality...things like that. You can search for differnet dogs on http://dogbreedinfo.com/

Go for a Golden Retriever...They're cute, loyal, and smart. Golden puppies are in the Cottenelle comercials, and an adult Golden is Duke, from the Busch's Baked Bean commerical.

The one that steels your heart...don't just look for cute because they out grow cute no matter what breed they are. If that is the only reason you want a puppy get a stuffed animal instead...it stays cute forever and are a lot less work.

I think that one of the cutest dogs would either have to be a labrador or a golden retriever. Even a mixed puppy is cute. You may even opt for a saint bernard if you don't mind all the drooling. This puppies are very affectionate and protective when they get older.
