For religion and philosophy work I have to find a song which represents adultery
but I dont listen to a wide range of music.

I was wondering if anyone here could suggest any songs or poems that I could find the words to that are based on adultery?

Thankyou

Layla by Derek and the Dominoes (Eric Clapton). Although the words are not explicitly describing adultery, Clapton wrote it as a love song to George Harrison's wife, Patty Boyd, while they were still married and while he was Harrison's best friend!

According to Jesus, lust is the same as adultery, and Clapton surely was lustful for her. You can read Matthew 5 for the lust reference.

There was a R & B song name Me and Mrs. Jones (we got a thing going on). I use to listen to this song all the time. When I got saved the Spirit pointed out to me that it was a song about adultery so I stopped listening to it. The artist was named Billy Paul I think.

Other than country songs, I can't think of any that even mention it. It'd be hard to say they were based on it.
