i have a medical exemption certificate for a condition i have and was unaware until several people told me that it also covers opticians and dentists costs. the condition i have can have some effect on my eyesight. is this the case that it does cover aspects of health.

You can only get an exemption certificate from the NHS Pricing Authority, which I believe is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

See your local optical person and he/she will be of good advice for you, ok?

Yes. It covers prescriptions, dental treatment and opticians eye tests and help towards spectacles.

Absolutely, definitely YES I had one one year and got new specs and teeth.!! Well, I didn't actually get new teeth you understand but got all the work done then. Go for it girl if the money is there you use it. Good health

Yes you can use it . I have one and i get free dental and free eye test also help towards glasses. So put your money away and get out your card and i don't mean visa i mean your medical exemption. x
