I have to say that laying in bed watching movies, while someone cooks chicken noodle soup and brings you popsicles is definetly a great comfort when you are sick.

Chicken soup. While there are no medical value to chicken soup, scientists have found that there is "something" in chicken soup that just makes a person feel better. Noodles also have calming affect.

Orange Pekoe tea and Dad's oatmeal cookies, and chicken and rice soup (not so fond of the noodles.)

I hate to say it because it's almost cliche, but chicken soup really helps. Also, if I have an upset stomach I like ginger tea. (My mom told me that works, so I always use it.)
