We are giving him our daughters room to sleep in. It is decorated with Tinkerbell. Should I change the qulit etc. to make it less Tinkerbell? Or does it matter?

I don't think it really matters, but I think changing the quilt would probably be a nice gesture.

I wouldn't change a thing. After all, he most likely will only be sleeping in your daughter's room, not really spending a lot of time in there. I'm sure the Tinkerbell quilt won't bother him a bit.

Leave it just as it is! If rest of the room is full of Tinkerbell, it would look silly to put a 'manly' quilt on the bed. I'm sure Dad won't mind, he'll probably think it's cute :D

If you have a different quilt you should change it. If not don't worry about it, just jokingly apologize for the tinkerbell bed as you show him to the room.

To show him a little respect, I think it would be better if you took tinkerbell out. It can be annoying for an old man.

I would change it to a full size quilt that won't emphasize the fact that your daughter had to give up her room for him.

If you happen to have a more adult quilt laying around, you could change it, but generally I wouldn't worry about it. He'll probably have a good chuckle at it :)

well it depends on the size of the quilt...you might want to give him something bigger that way if he were to get cold he could wrap up in it, it is just a night gesture...and it will give you a chance to wash your daughters quilt..lol

Don't fret about it. Just leave it like it is. Dad may appreciate sleeping in a "Tinker Bell" room knowing that it is his grand daughters room.
