If you friend knows that she has a guy interested in her and wants to go out with him then let her do it, and since you know that you will never have a chance with him then you need to accept that the guy is not for you and that there are other guys out there. Tell your friend to go for it and let her know that you support her reguardles of what happens and hopes that she will have a good time.

Let her have him, if he'd never go for you then let your friend be happy, and who knows is you all hang out he might start to like you. This is because guys have this thing where they try to get close to the girls best friend, its a good tatic, so let your bestfriend have him. And if its ment to be then your friend will be just as supportive.
