A company performing a background check on me for employment called me today to tell me I do not have a HS diploma. I graduated in 1990 and had to get an elective credit through a correspondence school. Which I did. They never sent the paperwork to the High School. I have no clue who I went through back then, but choices were slim. Does anyone have any idea how the heck I can find this info? I will not get this job if I dont have a diploma. I had no clue this even happened and have never had this problem in the past 17 years.

Did you check with your high school to see if they had any information about you attending the school? They could have the name in their file.

How did you find out about the school? Who referred you? Did you call the guidance counselors at the high school? They may know the school if they frequently referred students to that school.

Do you have any paperwork at all with the name of the school?
