well, most definitely cake, unless she doesn't like cake, then maybe an icecream cake, unless she doesn't like ice cream, then something that she does love. As far as for everyone else. Well, March is early spring, so you could do a veggie tray or fruit pizza, yum, finger foods, it might be too cold to cook out so order pizza, or have something like lausauna, anything that is easy to serve. What does your daughter like to eat?

My little boy turns one 26th March! We are hiring a hall and having all close friends and family there! It's a huge milestone for a baby - so go mad! we are! I'm doing a pocoyo birthday cake, jelly and ice cream - little sandwiches, white chocolate cup cakes etc etc and having music that was popular from the month I conceived til the day he was born played!

Mine turns 1 in March as well. We're having a Thomas party with a Thomas Cake, and we're ordering "gourmet" like pizzas and making a really big salad as well. Might do appetizers too.

For my other son's 1st we did mini crab cakes, mini appetizers etc. My husband loves to cook though.

Have fun!

Are you having Kids?
Are you having grown ups?
I would get a small white cake so she can play with it. Most supermarkets sell them
If you are having kids, Pizza, pig's in a blanket, cheerio in a bowl, Mac and cheese
For grown up, get a roll up platter. It is easy, and you do not have to worry
My daughter slept most of her 1 st birthday party
The party is for you, and family
Good luck, Congratulations

When each of my kids turned 1 I got a "baby" cake for each child (Publix gives them free for 1st b-days) and did cake, chips, ice cream, drinks for the guests. The pictures of them digging into their own cake turned out great

Stewed carrots. What are having a party for a one year old for? I have seen silliness but this takes the cake. I really want to see her blow out the candles.
