Dog admitted that he had done things a bit wrong. Nonetheless, as far as I'm concerned, his wrong in this case, made a right. Thank you Dog!!!
If there is time to be served, it should be served somewhere in the USA, in something of a Martha Stewart type prison.
The man caught was a rapist for crying out loud! He should have been shot, or at best, his genitals cut off and hung out to dry (saying this as someone who has been raped)

Honorable men do not violate the law. Dog Chapman considers himself a crusader for justice. I don't have a problem with this, but by breaking the laws of another country he now just appears holier than thou. We must all suffer the consequences of our actions. Contrary to what many believe the ends do not always justify the means and we must all play by the rules. Otherwise we become as bad as that which we are fighting supposedly fighting against.

Edit: The thing that surprises me here is that people cannot properly recognize what happened. Luster was famous. Dog Chapman is a glory hound who refers to himself as "The Greatest Bounty Hunter in the World". Chapman did this for more fame and money. Upon his return he tried to collect 350,000 from the bail Luster posted, even though he did not post the bail and had made no formal arrangements with authorities to involve himself in the case. When the judge refused his request he walked out while the judge was still talking. Now you can believe that Dog is some honorable paragon of virtue if you choose, but the reality is far different. He did take a bad man off the street, but violating the law in order to serve it is unacceptable. When a cop violates the law even for the right reasons we rightfully demand action against him. Why should self serving Dog Chapman be treated any different just because he has a popular TV show?

For those saying the US should intervene. Do you even see the depth of your hypocrisy. You are moaning about illegals violating our laws and then saying the government should condone a United States citizen doing the exact same thing in relation to another countries laws. Justice for all, not just for those you think deserve it because two wrongs do not make a rigth no matter how hard you try to justify it.

The Dog committed a crime in Mexico. The US is respecting Mexican law as it would expect Mexico to respect US law.

If a Mexican committed a crime in the US and went back to Mexico, wouldn't you want the Mexican government to send the Mexican back to the US for prosecution?

~~~
Mexican citizens commit crimes all the time in American; its called illegal immigration/drug dealing/you get the picture. And nothing is done about it by the Federales because they are EXTREMELY corrupt.
I don't think he deserves to go to prison for catching a man wanted in the U.S for 86 counts of rape.
The U.S needs to step up here and tell Mexico to take a hike. They don't abide by our laws and even tell their people how to come here illegally.. So why should we turn over a man to them who committed a misdemeanor.. but brought an evil man to justice.
Not it is not, but in American if you are rich you can do what you want. The rapist should be put in jail and the key throned away. Also the guy that caught him should be honored, we have to many rapist that get away only to continued their reign of terror on other victims.
Just another outrageous symptom of a corrupt US Government that has sold us out. Politicians only care about kick-backs from corporate lobbyists who want to profit off cheap labor.
No, but the rapist he caught was of the Max Factor fortune fame, wasn't he? Money talks, I guess.
What are you talking about?
What does being "American" mean? If anybody is being sent to a Mexican prison, that is none of our business - that's Mexico's thing. Who says he's "honorable," except you?
This isn't clear to me, as to who you are speaking of. Regardless, laws are in place for a reason. Break the law and you go to jail. Either we enforce all the laws or we ignore all the laws. There clearly is no other choice.
If a person doesn't want to do the time in a foreign prison, a person should not do the crime.
