I have a pain under my right breast. It hurts the most when I cough or sneeze. I can feel it when I breath in deeply but mostly just coughing. I just got over a cold and cough. Could I have pulled a muscle??

I'm a nurse. Your lymphatic system is clogged due to your cold/cough symptoms see a doctor or take some ibuprofen/Tylenol for relief. Take care and all the best.

I was about to say the same thing, and just finished letting yahoo know about it. Diagnosis over the internet is not only illegal but very dangerous. If this is something you are concerned about, you really need to physically see a doctor. Of course, people can tell you what they would do, or if they've had experience with this same type of symptom, but bottom line is that anyone can claim to be something, and it could lead you in the wrong direction.

Now personally, I've experienced something similar before, but not with a cold. I had bronchitis and coughed so hard that I cracked a rib. I can't imagine that a cold would do that.

No one here can diagnose you based on this. No one can give you an online diagnosis. And certainly no real medical professional would do so. Nurses cannot make medical diagnoses, i.e. "your lymphatic system is clogged". This is outside the scope of our practice. I will tell you that people who have frequent and vigorous coughs can also have muscle strain. It will hurt to breathe, it will hurt to cough, it can hurt to move in certain directions. You can try an OTC analgesic and warm compresses or muscle rubs. You can even try the patch. If your pain isn't relieved or at least reduced over the next 3 days, report this to your doctor as there may be something else going on that requires medical attention.

There's a possibility that it's a problem with your diaphragm, perhaps caused by excessive coughing and sneezing; if it doesn't pass within a week or so, it will probably be best for you to seek medical advice.
