i want to get an lcd flat panel hd ready tv either samsung, sony bravia v series, or a phillips ambilight (cant decide yet- any opinions welcome) HOWEVERRRR, when are the electrical shops having their next big sale and price slash - im such a stinge - and knowing my luck i would buy the flat panel and then 3 days later it would be in the sale .......

i know here in the US there are always big sales around the holidays (no matter what kind) like st. Patrick's day is coming up and i know there will be some kind of sale going on then (we just had a presidents day and there are ALWAYS big sales going on then)
We also get good discounts in the weekly paper (Sundays) is when things usually go on sale.. and if what you get goes cheaper within 30 days, most places will match or go a little lower then their competitions prices to keep you as a customer (all you need is your sales slip and proof of lower price)
