no, i hate it when christians say, "your a sinner"

thats what makes me a grump.

they are focused on making individuals see they are sinners. id like to meet ray and kirk someday and have a discussion with them and their rude way of using the human psyche against themselves.

No I do not "hate" when told I am a sinner. Sin is something contrary to religious or moral law. So I know I am a sinner as I am imperfect.

Rather I am a bit saddened that someone, other than a religious authority, would feel compelled to remind me of what I so fervently know and understand. It is essentially belaboring the obvious.

Now if someone is speaking in broad terms and forming some cogent argument around the notion of "sin" I am more than willing to listen to the rationale being put forth.

Your question would have to be more structured for me to give a more specific answer.

To say we are all sinners is one thing (since it includes the person saying it as well.) To say that only some of us, because we had some water thrown over us and because we 'accept' Jesus Christ (or Vishnu or Rob down at the Quack Mart) are therefore more holy and deserving of heaven rather than some unrepentant 'sinner', is simply arrogance.

Then again, Jesus came to accept all the rotten people of society, so it should be no surprise that the rotten people are the one's most attracted to it. Even smelly people need someone who loves them.

I'm not perfect, not by a longshot! I "sin" almost hourly.
Yet, I am one of those christians who says we are all sinners. Notice I say WE not you.... The bible says:
"For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
See God is HOLY and PURE... rightous! 100% PERFECT.
We have all sinned because we fall short of that. A true believer and follower of Christ won't condemn the world but show them the light (Christ HImself).
Don't mean to be preachy just wanted to clear things up a bit.
Thanks!

As bad as it sounds it's true! We definitely prefer to label it a nicer way.

Would you rather be a pre-owned vehicle or a used one? Would you prefer to live in a trailer or a mobile home? Would you prefer to say I'm not perfect or I'm a sinner.

Also I prefer to work toward the positive than to dwell on the negatives.

I don't hate it because I was a sinner until Jesus saved me from hell. We are made perfect in Jesus. God Bless you completely.

We fall down but we get up. That's point we don't have to remain in sin.

No, 'cuz it's God's own truth! We were created perfect (ie sinless) and messed up the world and ourselves by going against God's will. Seems like we all want the ONE THING we're told not to touch!

The Word of God says "we've all sinned and came short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

I will not be perfected until I meet Jesus and then I will be like Him.

Sorry, it's true; we are all sinners. Christians are not better than you. The only difference is that Christians are forgiven.

1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

I don't hate it, but I think it is dangerous when people want you to believe what they believe. That is the total opposite of honest inquiry - more like attempted mental takeover - and it does lead inevitably to war.
