Reduce the resolution of your image, most people save their image files in the highest resolution possible which increases the size of the file. I think that an acceptable resolution for an image file online is 72dpi.

You need to go through a 'Paint' programme.
Irfanview, Adobe Photoshop, Serif, or even Windows own paint programme will reduce photos.
Its quite simple. Download whichever paint programme you choose (some are paid for) and choose 'size, or, resize'. Just follow the instruction and reduce.
Jpeg is the most comon file compression system for photographs and video (although video is now mainly Mpeg,MP4A) . All digital cameras take their pictures in the Jpeg format so you can just download and resize. Once saved, just hover the cursor over the file and it will tell you what size it is. If its too big, just repeat and reduce further.

mg? You mean mb, I take it. You can try cropping it and/or resizing the image to make it smaller. Those are the ways I usually reduce file size.
If you don't already have a program, irfanview will do both of those things for you.

I use my paint program in windows.. it will shrink the image.. it's fast and easy.. go into the tab image, and from the drop down menu select expand or contract .. put in these percents to test.. 20% and 20% . if it is too small just ignore and try again.

it fairly is fairly undemanding. you are able to click on the main appropriate button of the mouse and bypass to edit. After this methodology for modifying the photograph would be opened you will discover the re-length or compress photograph button. in this way you are able to set the size you like. wish will show you how to :-)
