I cannot seem to find the answer to this. Does anyone know what medicines reduce the effect of the nuvaring?

Did you try reading the package insert that came with the ring? It could have some good information regarding interactions and side effects. Most people don't read them because they are so tiny and nondescript, but they contain disclosures from the drug company.

Antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of many kinds of birth control - this could hold true with nuvaring, but I don't know for sure.

In theory, use of boron with estrogen-energetic drugs alongside with contraception pills or hormone alternative therapy would effect in better estrogen consequences. Use of boron with testosterone-energetic drugs alongside with Testoderm® would effect in better testosterone consequences.
