3 months ago my index finger on my right hand started to twitch, from the knuckle up.
Not all the time, but oftern.

It is worse now as this twitch now involves both my index fingers and both my thumbs.
Again, not all the time, but very oftern, and enough to worry me.

My fear is this is only going to get worse and I want to know what it may be.

I'm thinking diabites and plan to see a quack soon, but does anyone have any thoughts .....

It may be as yet another manifestation of the "keyboard Syndrome".

Of course you need to see your doctor to have a full physical and the relevant tests.

Best wishes.

Better to go to the doctor but why not get a blood test done to rule out diabetes? Then consult a neurologist. It can be just a nerve pinch or due to tension of the nerves. But better not neglect it and go to some good doctor.Dont worry,it will be something minor which can be rectified by medicines but why take a risk."A stitch in time ,saves nine". All the best.

My friend, why in the world would you be thinking diabetes????? There is no one thing that jumps out at me and I'm lacking complete medical information about you. Do you type a lot? Or are involved in repetitive hand and wrist movements? Like with a game system controller. It could be something as simple as this. Try not to worry about it and wait until you see your doctor. Oh and please don't refer to them as quacks.
