Just to make a quick correction to Allyalex's statement. Canada uses postal codes which is the equivalent to the US zip code. Ours however includes a series of letters and numbers.

All the answerers are correct that the first letter for an Alberta postal code is "T". But not ALL of Canada starts with a T. For example, Ontario uses K and M, Quebec uses H and J.

All of the Canadian postal codes I am aware of are in the format "X9X 9X9" where X is a letter and 9 is a number.

Canada has postal codes, not zip.
In calgary they all start with a T and then 5 letters or numbers after it.
Ex.
