Hi I am looking for the origin of my family´s surname but most sites dont have it in record the name is alemanno...
can someone help me?

In Spanish, Alemano (Alemanno) means "from Germany."

Alemania = Germany

Means "from Germany

Sometime you go with the closest spelling they change spelling sometime by mistake by the court or county clerks and the mispelling sticks.

if you trace this backward through your family in cencus records death and birth you may find the the spelling was changed.

Some name i breck down into to parts but i think that this may be a mis spelling.
