There have been hundreds of people who claim to be the second coming of Christ, but Christians continue to label them as wacko's.

What if one of them WAS the second coming? What if Jesus came back to earth, but was dismissed by Christians?

---I am not commenting on whether or not Jesus is coming, so please spare me those details. I just want to know how you will KNOW it is Jesus.

The bible says he return will like his departure. He will descend on a cloud; try these verses: Matthew 24:30, Mark 14:62, Luke 21:27, Revelation 1:7. So unless these people were witnessed as having come down from heaven on a cloud, they are not Jesus.

I have thought about this question. For me personally, like the bible states, I think that when Jesus is descending on a cloud that every person alive will be a witness to this event. "Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess..." is what will happen. Whether one believes in Jesus or not, His physical presence on this earth in all His glory and power, will awe the world in such a way that no one will be able to deny the power of the King of the Universe. It's like when a celebrity walks by, even if you don't like that person, the mood changes simply by their presence and status. Same thing with Jesus.

Because Jesus is King and has power beyond our imagination, the whole world will pause and bow and confess. Now after that moment, I speculate that the people who hates Jesus will continue hating Him and those who love Him, will love. But the world will bow, not by choice but by the power of his physical presence alone.

Luke 21:27
Then everyone will see the Son of Man [ “Son of Man” is a title Jesus used for himself.] coming on a cloud with power and great glory. [ See Dan 7:13.]

There will be no question. It says that EVERYONE will see Him. All these wackos just appear out of obscurity and claim to be Jesus, but they have a past here on earth. They didn't come on a cloud. They start their deception, get some followers, then do some pretty crazy and destructive things.

Like this de Jesus guy in Miami?? He claimed first to be Paul, then Jesus, and now the Anti-Christ. He's wack.
His actions are very contrary to what the Jesus of the Bible taught. The Bible says that God doesn't change, so if someone is claiming to be Jesus, but acting in a way that does not line up with scripture, you know He's a liar. The Bible has to be the place we go for truth. Anything contrary is not truth.

There are many different things that will happen when Jesus comes back. And bealive me, every single person in the world will know when Jesus has returned. There are a bunch of events that will happen before Jesus returns though. The bible says in Revelation 18 that Babylon will have to fall. Here's what you do, just go and get a Bible, Gideons Bible or a Bible form a Church or something and read the Book of Revelation. That will tell you about the End Times.

When Jesus comes back ,He will come back in the Eastern sky ,with a shout so loud, that the dead in Christ will rise first and then the people that have accept Him will ascend.Only the people that have been saved will hear.People that have rejected him will live on the earth through the Tribulation period of seven years. So if you want to hear when Jesus comes ,you need to give your heart to him and follow him.Only that way you'll go to heaven.

Christ says that the sheep know their Shepherd.
And sheep are always very rare at the coming of the Shepherd. The reason is that He only comes at the time of the end, when people care no more about religion, spirituality, life eternal. The time of the end is the time when the One True God is almost forgotten. And spiritual resurrection would gradually occur afterwards.
Christ already returned nearly two centuries, but His believers are still rare, and seekers for Him are also very rare.
Therefore, we will realize that, His glory is from God, and not from the acceptance of man.

The book of Mathew chapter 24 (the whole chapter) states the signs of Jesus’ second coming. Jesus points forward to a time of wars, ‘nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom,’ food shortages, earthquakes, an increasing of lawlessness, the earth-wide preaching of the good news of the kingdom,………… and we surely see these signs TODAY. Therefore, Jesus’ second coming is now here….

when He comes, it won't be pretty....

first time He came as a "normal" man, fulfilling God's will for Him.
Next time, He'll descend from the Heavens in a form all can see and He will pass judgement. I believe that's during tha battle of Armegeddon.

if somebody claims to be a re-incarnation of Jesus, they're a lunatic

According to the Bible there will be no mistaking Jesus' second coming.

"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn". Matt. 24:30a (NIV)

Well---if Jesus came back--& taught the same teachings--love your enemy, don't resist evil, the Kingdom of God is within you, turn the other cheek etc---there would be a stampede of Christians labeling him the Anti-Christ--& seeking to kill him---again.

do you want for Jesus to respond to your question? He did answer it. Jesus responded this very question, even as His disciples requested Him, and His words were written down via those who heard Him communicate that day. you need to study His words contained in the Bible, in Matthew 24. He observed a great number of diverse issues, like issues that had to ensue first, earlier He returns. He used some note images to reveal the way it will be for people even as He comes decrease back. He become fairly careful to communicate about that we shouldn't believe all those who claims to be Him, or who claims to have a secret particular thanks to discover Him. yet you may study it centred on your self, and word what you imagine.
