Once a person has been elected twice to the Presidency, they are no longer eligible to be elected again.

If a Vice President were to assume the office of the President with less than two years remaining in that term they would then be able to be elected to two-four year terms on their own.

No one can be President for more than 10 years in a lifetime.

Nope. After Franklin Roosevelt's 4 terms, the Constitution was amended to limit any and every President to no more than two terms, total. Doesn't matter whether consecutive or discontinuous. Dubya can never be elected President ever again.

No his cruel and unusual self cannot have the presidency again at least not in the same body he inhabits...he can shape-shift he's reptilian they all are so look out. No I would not vote for anyone sending soldiers away from home so their wives and children can be murdered behind their backs. Twos the limit but heads up..they might decide to change the rules. So would you let them change the long standing rules? Hmmm

The correct answer is no, he can not. But apparently most of the aswerers don't realize that this is true because of the 22nd amendment to the Constitution which was ratified on February 27, 1951. Up until then, a person could be elected as many times as he or she wanted to run. (Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected to four consecutive terms. He died early in his fourth term. Ironically, it was a Republican Congress responding to Roosevelt's dominance that pushed this amendment, apparently not realizing that some day they might want one of their own to run for more than two terms.) That amendment states in part:

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once."

For what it's worth, no, I wouldn't vote for him. And given his standing in the polls, it seems highly unlikely that he would win the nomination from his own party.

Nope presidents are limited to two turns only. It guaruntees we remain a democracy. He can't even work in certain fields for a number of years after he ends his second term.

I am a republican, but I can't say that I would vote for him again. He has been weak on some issues, like border security, and I would like to see someone who is much more conservative at the helm.

No. A politician may be elected President of the USA for two consecutive terms only. Thats two terms each of four [4] years.

Something in the Constitution but not sure what.

The reason for this is stop the creation of dynasties in the US. Unlike UK which is stuck with a dynasty in charge, the House of Windsor - HM QE2, Chas, etc.

No he can never run as President again. The two term limit is it. Voting for him would be out of the question since he cannot run again.
