I have some pillsbury pizza crust but i want to make donuts, can i use the dough for donuts? How thick should i roll out the dough to cut the donuts? And can i store them in an air tight ziploc bag for tomorrow??

Yes you can. My husband who is a baker says that these are the same ingredients. Also on Food Network, Giada did a show where she purchased pizza dough and made donuts.

You should use the same size as it is when you roll out the pizza dough. That looks about correct. I guess you can store them, but fresh is always best.

I just bought pillsbury pizza dough for that purpose and I am going to make some today (after you just reminded me).

**I made my donuts today and they came out great! I would not recommend storaging them. It was simple in that I just cut strips out of it and made it into the circle. It puffed up and looked very even. I then made a glaze of milk, vanilla and powdered sugar. When I used half of it, I added cocoa powder to make chocolate for the other half....and then when I ran out, I just used plain sugar. It was better than I expected.

sounds like a wacky yet doable idea . why dont you do the experimental stage and then post the recipe as yours ? maybe martha is on the lookout for sum tang new .
