I currently got off of Methadone and I love this Oxycodone. I am just wondering if it is a safer alternative? Please help me!!! I would be greatful for any help

Typical is 10 mg of oxycodone every 6 hours as needed.
Some experience pain relief with as little as 5 mgs...others have to take up to 20.

hi there; I have been taking Oxycodone for 3 months now; and i find taking 2 pills every 4-6 hours does wonders for pain.
Even the doctors tell me that its more safe to take Oxycodone than Methadone.
I would also love to hear more of what people have to say about this... Thanks for asking this question!!!

I have been taking Oxycodone for 11 months now. I was taking two 20 mg tablets a day. I had a complete knee rebuild. I have since cut down to one a day. I also was taking Tramadol three times a day at the same time. I have since cut this to twice a day. I guess my answer is take no more than two Oxydone tabs a day. Then get off them as soon as your pain allows you to.

Your doctor should be able to tell you what dosage to take.
