You can get some great ideas from wedding magazines and you can order invitation magazines to get ideas from for free. Also, check out some scrap booking places and websites. Making your own is so much more fun because you can really incorporate you and your mate in to the design. Good luck!

You should put a photo stamp of you and your finance on the envelope instead of just regular stamps. My cousin used http://photostamps.excellentabc.com to do this for her wedding invites and it looked so good. Plus it gives all your relatives and family members and updated picture of the bride and groom right on the invite stamp. I thought it was a unique idea and wanted to share.

Hope that helps.

They sell it in any respect varieties of craft shops, like Micheal's or The activity foyer. some Walmarts carry it. i'm beneficial in case you have a scrap reserving shop close to you, they might have some in inventory. Its a transparency paper. and you're able to have the skill to print onto it with a typical printer, in spite of the undeniable fact that it takes a couple of minutes for the ink to dry. study the equipment once you detect some and spot if it says you could. i've got revealed on it, thats how i understand the ink will smear....i'd guess Ebay has some, too, in the scrap reserving section.

I'm a paper crafter. I get a lot of my ideas from DIY-Network for creating invitations and cards. There site is great because it gives you step-by-step instructions and list of materials you'll need. Here are links to instructions for a couple of invitations you might like:

I went to Hobby Lobby and picked out really nice paper and printed mine up myself. Saved lots of money and I was able to pick out paper that matched our theme.
