1st off sweety, you're only 14. Love at 14 is ALOT different then love at 18 or older. It may be that your closeness is comfortable for him. At that age, boys are starting to think more about girls, and if he already has that connection with you it only makes sence that he "thinks" he loves you. My advise is to find a girl that you know (because you're his friend) that would be great for him. If you guys are as close as I think you are, you;ll find the perfect match for him.. This will take his mind off of you. But REMEMBER when you see him with someone else you have to not get to feeling jealous. Its a good possiblity that if he finds someone he likes alot as a girlfriend, you might not be in the picture as much as you are right now. Let me know if you need anything hun - twpiston@yahoo.com

Try encouraging him to get a close friendship with other girls your age. He feels so comfortable with you that hes confusing friendship with love. He sounds a little obsessed with you and I can understand why if you're the only girl hes close to. You must make it clear that your his best friend but nothing more.

unfortunatly, he isn't going to stop being obsessed with you until you are no longer in his life. thats a fact or until another girl gets his attention so as i see it you have two choices try to get another girl interested in him, and tell him that you do not want to be anything more then friends ever again and if he keeps asking for this you will not be able to even be his friend anymore..its harsh but this is what has to be done and the part about finding a girl to be interested in him only if she genuinly likes him proceed that path other then that this has to be done...sorry its a hard situation

Well tell him that you just want to remain really good friends for right now and you'll see if anything happens later on. With you that is maybe you will change and you two could end up together and it could last a while you never know

Hunny dating friends is a rough territory but since you already tell eachother everything you have to tell him everything you just wrote. You need to be honest about your feelings. Remember its a huge gamble you can lose a really good friend. If your feelings arent there dont do it. Your going to hurt both of you.

pretty heavy vocabulary for a 14 year old . i would worry more about getting my homework done as to not send the teacher into a fit unless of course you are one of those new age genius-uz that cant be told anything and the only reason youve asked us anything is because you dont have anything else to do.

keep on as his best friend, try to be kind to him but don't talk about love, like a motherhood love someone does, with much affection, he might be satisfied and hopefully will think twice about your relationship.
Anyway, don't be negative, it didn't work once, that doesn't mean that it won't work out forever. i don't care about love but i know losing a good friend is a great loss.

Oh such a simple choice.

Go out with him or not - say you don't know if you can reciprocate his love - say you do not want to hurt him - but would like to continue as friends.

Some one else may come along that may catch his eye and vice versa.

I just love British/Aussie English so much.
Well if you don't like him tell him that and if he doesn't remain a friend then he would never have been a good lover either.

I've been there and i didn't get to go out with her in the end but i think deep down she did. Think it about it and if you truly want to then go out with him, if not, tell him straight. Its the only way.
