Or instead of "my job is a godsend", I would say "my god is a jobsend." I am 28 and have noticed this problem in the last year or so and it has increased in frequency. I have never been diagnosed with dyslexia. What could be the problem?

I am doing this all the time if I am stressed. Apparently it is more likely to happen to left handed people

Yeah, this happens to everyone. I'll forget a word in the middle of a sentence sometimes...and a simple word, too like "football" or whatever. People's minds just play tricks on them sometimes. Oh, and it's definitely not dyslexia...that's a visual/reading problem, not a speech problem.

Like Adam, if I have been stressed or am tired, I will forget simple words in the middle of a sentence, or completely forget what I was talking about. And everyone mixes up words sometimes......that's what makes tongue twisters so fun.

It happens to most people some of the time. It's just one of those things, it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. Don't worry about it.

Could simply be stress. You should mention it to your physician to be on the safe side.
