This dress is EXQUISITE!!!! I love it. Almost makes me want to get married again! YOU are the bride and you can wear whatever you like. I'd definitely wear it, forget the shoes obviously and be sure not to have your hair too "done up." I attended a beautiful beach ceremony but the bride's hair was just WAY too uppity and formal, when she had everything else down to a T. Do a nice loose-fitting half up maybe, kind of a tassled "victoria's secret" look. I really do love this dress, good luck to you!

are you going to be in the sand? whatever color it's a wedding dress ...and very formal for the 'beach' ...I guess that depends on background, etc. though. difficult to say without a bigger picture and just a dress. what does the veil look like? the bodice is too heavy/busy for the delicate bottom half of the dress unless youve got more hips than the figure shown for balance. kind of difficult to get a good picture from just the dress...sorry! have a wonderful wedding dear! :D:D:D:D a beautiful sunset/sunrise wedding would be very lovely indeed. peace

Your dress is just TOO gorgeous!! Yes, I love it and think it is wonderful! I have been to 2 beach weddings and the brides were dressed just as formally.
I do think the previous advice about wearing flip flops or going barefoot is a good idea if the reception will also be at the beach.

the dress is absoulty beautiful!! Its really dressy, but having it a lace like upper layer makes it soft and light looking which will go perfect for a beach wedding! You should get this dress, its the dress that you know that when you put it on you will just want to cry cause it fits you perfect. Thats when you know its the perfect dress. Congrats!!

The dress is beautiful, but the train may be a problem in the sand. Other then that, it's your wedding so you can be as formal or causal as you like. The guest should be the ones worrying about being too formal for a beach wedding, not the bride.

Its a beautiful dress. You need to wear what makes you feel like a princess!!! I don't think its too dressy. When we were in Jamaica for our honeymoon we saw people getting married on the beach in dresses fancier than the one I wore at our church wedding. Good luck!!

I think it's a formal dress and will be too much for a beach wedding. The overlay is going to drag in the sand. Pretty dress, but not recommended for beach

Im afraid it may be to dressy for a beach wedding.But that is just my opinion. If you really like the dress then wear it. It is your day not anyone elses it all your decision. The dress is beautiful by the way.

The heavy beading make it too formal for the coastline. i imagine you're better off with a white (like you suggested) immediately dress with straight forward strains and "ethereal". the textile seems heavy and also seems "formal classic church wedding ceremony dress". perfect!!!! it is a beautiful dress and i think that it would be wonderful to wear outdoors. as far as the train and the beach and the sand who cares. the beads and work on the dress would look great in the sunlight or even right at dusk!!! congrats and good luck
