ok first of all thank you to the peoples who actually try to help.second i am not asking anyone for money.just trying to help my dog.to explain it better she is 2 1/2 years old pitbull.about month and two weeks ago i noticed a lump on her right side.it got noticeably bigger so two weeks ago i took her to a vet.they said it could be a tumor or it could be just her bone and her joint were inflamed.the mass is solid and does not move around.i have applied for care credit and have not gotten a response yet.that also was two weeks ago.the vet didnot want to biopsy it incase it is part of her lung which they could not see from the xray.she had improved a few days later and seemed to be back to her normal health except for the lump.i am waiting for the vet to call me now because she does not feel well again and was reaching out to see if anyone knew of a way to help her.i will try the national aspca place and imom so thanks to the ones who actually had something good to say dj

call the national ASPCA organization, not your local office, they have numbers for organizations and what not that can help with the cost. and whoever told you that they cannot help you was feeding you a line. I worked at a local shelter in montana and they helped as often as their budget allowed. mostly for spaying and neutering pets for elderly or disabled people on a limited income.

You did not tell us what they suspect is the problem? That ultrasound cost is high? I was put off doing one on a dog until I called another vet and the difference was huge. Unfortunately, some vets are in it bigtime for the money! They will run the bill up sky high and if someone can't afford they lay a guilt trip on them.

Not all vets are that way. The vet that works with our rescue has his heart in the right spot for us. I understand your pain and frustration for your dog. Many of us would not have all the money these vets expect us to have.

I encourage you to check around first. The vet we use is in a more rural area and charges less than those in the nearest "big city", a lot less. But he takes excellent care. You are entitled to his medical info and have that to discuss with other vet offices.

Check around and not just in immediate area if you are in a major metroplitan area where prices tend to be higher. May find it worth a drive to go to a smaller county vet.
Good luck. Let us know

Try applying for CareCredit. It's a credit card for medical costs. You can apply at www.carecredit.com. Just make sure that the veterinarian accepts this form of payment since not all do. If that doesn't work see if you can take out a loan or borrow money from a family member. Good luck!

Check to see if you have an Animal Birth Control Center. THey do more then just "fix" your pet. THey offer other services such as you are needing.
We took both our animals there and the price there was 1/4 of the cost of a regular vet clinic.

Try placing a hot pack, hot washrag put in microwave for 10 secs and leave it on for 10 minutes. See if the mass possibly goes down, it could just be a growth of tissue and not much to worry about. If its not hurting her or seem to cause her pain don't spend the extra money if you can't afford it.

Youtube does pay according to view in case you become a greater half (you may desire to get an AdSense account). the fee is around a million/3 cent according to view (or around $a million according to 1000 perspectives). no longer all uploaders gets a commission nevertheless, basically persons that have enabled their movies to be "monetized". YouTube has a internet site explaining the approach and their industry application. some ignorant guy or woman below considers "10 million / month" for the full of YouTube "too plenty". i assume it fairly is like Dr. Evil in Austin Powers, thinking "a million money" is a extensive volume of money for the U. S. to pay. in fact, those with properly-known YouTube channels, like community_channel make north of $one hundred,000 according to month. right here is YouTube's internet site:
