member, and can anyone in the church conduct the study, or are they done only by specific individuals?

I'm hearing individual churchs or schools, only, but only a couple of religions, as a whole.

Most churches do. As matter of fact, before I joined the group I was with recently that was forming a new church - another church I attended - a Baptist church offered home studies and these were conducted at private homes and anyone in the church could conduct the studies. They not only offered Bible studies to people wishing to become members but Bible studies on other subjects as well each week.

I once went to a Church, perhaps you've heard of it; Rick Warren's church, Saddleback Church, the author of The Purpose Drive Life. Well, they have hundreds of Bible studies. There are some that are run by the church, and others that are done by individuals. Most of those are actually registered on a list of the Church.

Venue : the scene or locale of any action or event, is an often used term there.

that is what got here about with lots of those who now are JW. we've been attempting to make certain solutions and no man or woman knew to respond to our questions. yet that become till we met a JW. We study the Bible on a daily basis. No different faith does that. We also study for loose with those who're in contact. Why's that? because what we receive (the Bible expertise) is a present from God, so, we provide it for loose too. and also Jesus suggested that his real disciples will seem love. isn't this a tutor off love, helping others to appreciate the Bible better? on my own no you probable can try this. we've an celebration contained in the Bible about an Ethiopian eunuch which helps this theory: <> - acts 8:30, 31 once you've the different questions ask that JW who works with you. i'm certain that you'll receive an answer whenever you'll ask. i elect you to carry close that we are no longer forcing all of us to study the Bible with us. all of us who began and transformations his ideas can say that he doesn't opt for that anymore. this is straight forward.

I am sure that depends on the church Papa. I know that my church (UMC) has people who go to the hospitals, nursing homes, homes of those too ill to come to church, etc. as does the minister. At our church probably anyone willing could do a home Bible Study as there is ample material available...but, only a certified minister can administer communion.

The Dhaxem group is not exactly a church, but you can study our Concept on the Dhaxem website. The Concept is not the bible either, but a succinct account of God, the Universe, and of our place in it , as conveyed directly from the Source.

Almost all community churches offer home bible study. They are done by members who have taken a course.

I attend a Christian Church. I have conducted "home Bible studies" and never had to take a course. So I guess my answer to this question would be anyone who is felt they are led by God to do it.

Most churches do this. I am a member of the Canadian Reformed Church and new members have one on one study time with the minister. Many new churches have a member of the consistory (e.g. and elder) or a minister do this. If there is a church you are interested in joining, approach the minister about this, most will be quite happy to oblige!

Maybe the JW's have a specific way to do it, but I'm pretty sure just about any church will let non-members do almost everything but communion, etc. That's how they recruit.

Kind of like koolaid cults.

several christian churches here in CA offer bible study at home. I even attended one that was held at star bucks. In my school there's a christian organization, they come up to you and ask if a person wants bible study.
