I recommend Trinidad and Tobago.

We cater for all, the eco tourist, the lazy lounger and the party hearty.

Trinidad is the economic capital of the twin Island Republic. Great for shopping and dining... lots to see and do including birdwatching, fishing, relaxing, partying.... check out the Pitch Lake... Mud Volcanoes at the Devils woodyard....beautiful and unique Maracas Beach, Toco, Tyrico... to name a few....

Or head across to our sister isle Tobago...where things are of a much slower pace...real island life... azure blue waters, coral reef... scuba.

oldest forest reserve in the western hemisphere.

A story to be discovered at every turn.

Just a word of caution as with any other vacation be alert and aware of things going on around you, do not go to secluded areas..... experience Trinidad and Tobago Safely.

I lean towards St. Thomas. The beaches and islands around it are great to take in and snorkel and relax.

But saying that, I'd take any Eastern Caribbean island south of the Bahamas as they all have great beaches, super clear water, great coral/fish snorkeling and very relaxing. Plan on going back to take in more time at them.

Dominica is not much different from when Columbus saw it. It really is beautiful and would be my choice for tropical adventure.
Barbados is beautiful as well, ( BTW we do not have any water falls) and the history is very interesting.
Night life is good. People are freindly and everyone speaks English.
You really have a little bit of everything to choose from. So come on down!

Haiti, without a doubt. Beautiful secluded beaches, great culture, and most of all, I lived there for two years! I would not, however, reccomend Haiti to the faint of heart. One thing that gives me confidence in Haiti is that I speak Haitian. But that's definitely where I'd go!!!

The shopping in Charlotte Amalie was incredible, and Magen's Bay was spectacular..
