My honey & I have been together for 4yrs. He's early 30's, I'm mid 20's. He's great, I trust him and he loves me a lot. He's a great person in so many ways. The problem is that he doesn't like going out or travelling. I love to travel and socialize occasionally. He goes out w/me sometimes & we have fun. But we haven't gone on a trip together yet, each time we plan one either he has to work or something else comes up. Starting to think we're just too different to stay together. Feel like I may be missing out on someone who's better suited for me. Not sure if this is jusy "grass is greener" syndrome or it really is time to move on. Advise?

Thanks for all these great answers guys. I definately have to think this one over. I did talk to him about it though & I know he'll try to do more with me. I guess sometimes I wish relationships weren't such hard work.

My boyfriend and I are the same way. He works a lot and is a super good person but sticks very close to home. We don't spend a lot of time together doing things but each month we set aside at least one day to have a "date night". We go out to dinner, see a movie or play pool, etc. with friends. Once he is out he has a great time. We also have one week out of the year that we spend together either on a short trip or out doing some local site seeing. Don't give up on him if you love him, the grass isn't always greener and by the time it turns brown it's sometimes too late--- talk to him and tell him you need a compromise. I am sure it will work out. Good luck!

Are you a Sagittaruis? You're a travel and freedom freak, if you are, and this is just what you get for being born at this time.
Otherwise, just think about it.
Can you live ike htis?
Can he open up a bit?
Can you take your chances that you'll never meet another man who understands you and loves you this way?
You may have NO idea how lucky you are, girl.
Trust me, I've let a couple get away, hoping for better.
29 yrs old now, BTW

You should try and find a happy medium. Besides, going on trips and things like that can be done with friends as well.

I don't see a problem other than going out and socializing. You let him go and you'll regret it. Don't plan it next time, just go. Be creative and spontaneous. If you think he's boring then it says something about you also.
