I'm a Christian so you probably don't care to hear anything from me but YES!!! I saw it and it was weird. I was in a church that sang these 3 or 4 liner songs over and over and over.....ad infinitum. Then the pastor insisted that everyone start "dancing before the Lord" and I was wearing high heels and hated that, but hopped some. Then they all went into a semi-coma or something on the stage and the pastor took the "Song Leader" by the arms and led him to his seat and pampered him while explaining "That Happens Sometimes"!! Claimed it was the Holy Spirit and I can't say it was not.
But then that church (yes, I went back again) started putting guys at the doors through the service. I had problems one night and wanted to go to the parking lot and lay down in our van and groan. The "man" at the door asked me if he could help me and then asked me where I was going as if I couldn't leave!! THAT was the last time I went there.
This was a regular church in the "high end" of our big metropolitan city and even had a bookstore attached. If it had been hidden or had no signs I could have been more careful. Strange thing now is that church has disappeared!! True Story!!
And it makes me want to pop off about comets, but I won't. I stopped going to church a year later anyway because I got tired of organized religion and read the Bible on my own.
But you would have run out of there a lot sooner than me if you had seen that Holy Spirit Chanter (?) weaving and bobbing around on that stage. He wasn't faking it either. I just knew to leave and save myself!! Sorry if I bored you. Good Question!! @8-)

You can't 'overdose' on religion ... you can only 'overdose' on a 'substance you ingest' ... eat ... but I suppose it is possible for some people to get 'way more religion than they really need' ... and in my church, most of those people can become 'priests' or 'deacons' or 'extrordinary ministers' to help other people with their 'religious' problems/questions ... or to do 'missions' to help people who need it. In other words, I think that most 'religions' can do much more 'good' than harm ... but I am a Catholic who was many other 'religions' before becoming Catholic, and they all had 'missions' and did a great deal of good ... however I also know that not ALL religions do the 'same sort of good' I think is 'proper' ... although for someone else it might be 'proper.'

Yes, it happens every day. Usually for the bad. Zeal without knowledge is not an asset.
