Good, live for you, it is the only life that you have. I spent 36 years living my life the way that my mother wanted me to and now I live for me, I wish that I wouldn't have waited for so long to make that choice.
There is nothing wrong with you or your choice to live life for you

First of all in depends on how old you are. Second there is a time in everyone's life when they have to break away from their parents and do their own thing. It can be difficult but it is something one has to do in order to find happiness. Being yourself is the only way to do that and you parents will have to accept that eventually.
