How much alcohol does it take to get you decently drunk? how many beers? how many shots (80 proof)?

I'm asking how much it takes YOU to get drunk.. stop saying it depends on body weight and stuff.

It depends on how much I've had to eat. On an empty stomach, I get f'd up quick compared to if I have food in me. Generally it takes about 10 beers to get me 'drunk', but about 6 shots of 80 proof will do the same. I can't hold liquor but I can drink a lot of beer. 12 pack easy. I love beer.

As you know, alcohol, like any other ingested substance, enters the blood stream after consumption. It solely depends on the body mass of a person--more body mass, more blood content. Assume a person who weighs 120 lbs. I'd say it would take about 3-4 12 oz. beers/1 oz. shots (both are essentially equivalent) to get tipsy within a 1-hour period; twice that much would get [you] drunk. Like I said, I'm just speculating--I wouldn't know because I drink, but not enough at one time to get "drunk."

It depends on the persons body weight. For me personally, I'm done after about 8 or 9 shots of Jose Cuervo. I can't even make it to 5 shots if it's Seagrams black label (100 proof)
Beer...I'd say it takes about 15 bottles to get me drunk (I drink Michelob Lager)

Im 230lbs and 6'3" and im irish. That being said I drink beer,Id say about 6 beers would do it for me(12oz). But law enforcement would dissagree with me,saying im DWI after 3. Again,this would be the beginning stages for me being intoxicated,I can handle 6 more in the course of an evening.

It depends on the person brah, some only take 1 drink to get drunk, some don't get drunk even they have 15 drinks ;)

yeah it all depends on you.....and the kind of alchohol....I can drink way to many beers like 15-20....shots half a bottle of anything normal like tequla and ive got a good buzz....wine man wine you will have the worst hangover ever

I don't do shots. Hangovers hurt more than they used to at my age.
