too much potassium causes a heart attack, but how many supplemts are safe to take? and if i took a whole bottle at once would i have a fatal heart attack? (I'd never actually do that, i'm just wondering)

Do not take potassium, unless it is needed by a doctor's recommendation.

It is more likely that a whole bottle of potassium will give you massive diarrhea.

Potassium is an essential nutrient that is needed in fairly large amounts (therefore, it is called a 'macro-mineral'). Modern diets are often inadequate in potassium, so a supplement may be a good idea.
