not text you for a bit. I met this guy hr text me asked me out on the weekend and then said he was busy but could meet the week after. The i text him and he does not reply. He has my friends coat i left it at a party and said he wouldget it and drop it to me in person so why is he not texting he me when the night before he text me said 'how you doin?' yeah let catch up next week...weird

Leave him alone. He will call or text message back whenever he feels like it. I wouldn't call him. Men are like rubber bands: they pull back and spring foward. It is normal. When he feels your abscence, then he will call and if he does it, then you'll know he did it because he wanted to, not because you were calling him. Let him persue you; give him time to show how much he likes you. Dont hold yourself either, go out w/ friends and keep doing your own thing. He will call whenever he feels ready.

He's just not that into you. He may have put you on hold, and then found someone else to go out with. Stop texting him, and don't accept dates via text. If a guy wants a date with you, he can call and ask you properly.

i dont know, i mean what kind of guy is he? because sometimes guy wills do **** like that in order to play a girl, or maybe he just doesn't want to talk to you. But then again it could be something completley different like he is extremly busy with work or something that makes it hard for him to respond. Or it could be that the text never got to his phone. Thats happened to me a lot.

OR....
2) he really likes your friends coat, and doesn't plan on giving it back... which will make you liable for buying your find another coat... wow.
