Are parrotlet beaks very sensitive, that if you touch their beaks it will hurt? Or is it just only if you tap too hard.??

of course i will NEVER tap the beak hard but i kiss my parrotlets an awful lot. does this hurt?

I just got my parrotlet a couple of weeks ago. I constantly touch and kiss his beak and it doesen't seem to bother him.

Never tap your birds beak. They are a very sensitive bird. Discipline should be by verbal or by spray bottle. My little Chico loves her beak rubbed top and bottom.

Parrot beaks are amazing, the same beak that can crush a walnut can painlessly remove a hang nail.
