That would be another tactic to convert the whole world! Atleast they aren't killing any more Jews and Muslims! Oh wait...they still are.

:-) I have nothing to say but hahaha.

I think nobody gets it. It's not about currency.
Another hearty hahahahaha from me!

There are Christian Americans who would enthusiastically support a measure to have that stamped on all currency, and many more who would be just as appalled by the notion as non-Christians.

Neither "In God We Trust" nor "In Jesus We Trust" belongs on the currency of a nation founded upon religious freedom. Be careful, Christians, what you shove through the legislatures because you're in the majority and can. Someday you may not be in the majority.

Actually, that one would be struck down because the government would be promoting a specific religion. That is the only reason why the courts have allowed the phrase to remain on the currency so far. The word god is not regarded as any specific god or gods, therefore the courts decided that it was not government sponsored religion. However, if the currency was changed to Jesus, it would be government sponsored religion.

Since Jesus and God are one in the same, i dont see what diference it makes. In regards to killing Jews and Muslisms, Id like to know where you got your information from. Afterall, Jesus was a Jew. Its seems hard for me to pathom that is a true Christian went about killing Jews and Muslims...or anyone else for that matter, the title Christian is just that...noting more than a title.

No. The large Jewish population in the United States, influential in financial matters, will help see to not putting the name of Jesus on coins.

My opinion is that "God" should be removed from coins. It seems too much like a "graven image" thing, and we know from the Old Testament that God didn't want to be on coins, paintings, statues.

in god we trust can be percieved in many ways. It covers most major religions. To say we trust in a higher power whatever that power may be is not trying to convert just to add spirituality.

That's basically what it says already since Jesus is God.
