AND THE TOP REASON THEY COMPLETELY IGNORE YOU IS: 1. Because they can.

There are several reason someone would completely ignore: 1 they don't like you; 2 they are so absorbed in what going on with themselves that they don't notice you; 3 they are blind;4 they have someone else and don't want to hurt your feelings

1. To bug you...it works better than being unkind. Most people HATE being ignored.
2. Because they are completely disinterested and figure if they ignore you, you'll get the hint and go away.
3. They are playing "hard to get" and want you to pay them more attention.

to aviod being put into an awkward situation
mayby they like you and now feel weird arround you
they might know a secret and have to aviod you as not to say
could be they dont like you and its best just to stay away from each other
and then there the chance they didn't know you were there, or thought you were someone else
it could mean anything, everything or nothing

If someone is ignoring you, don't waste your time, find friends who pay attention and care about you. It's their loss..

they could be mad at you....you might have ignored them at one time and they are trying to get you back....or they might not like you

because they hate you or they just shy of you, dont be afraid to jump in and conversate with that person because if you dont, he/she wont either, its up to you.
