No one that cares for a pet would let you take it for a gift. Im sure there is someone out there that just wants your money and will let youtake one.

Puppies don't make good gifts.
Do the people that will be recieving the "gifts" even want a dog? Are they going to be willing to pay for proper care for the dog?
What you are essentially giving them is bills, and work.
Rather than giving the person a puppy, make them a certificate and offer to pay for the adoption fee, or the spay/neuter.
Don't give animals as gifts.

Puppies make terrible gifts. If the person wanted a dog, they would get one. And dogs are a very personal thing, the kind of dog you might get is not necessarily the kind the other person would like.
If you really want to give someone a dog, tell them first and make sure they actually want one and can make a 15 year time and money committment to one, then let THEM chose the dog they want and you pay for it.
