First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy and your new puppy.

You will be fine cleaning up puppy accidents. You may be getting confused with cat litter boxes. A pregnant woman should not be around the cat litter.

Good luck with both the baby and the puppy.

I don't know about the problems it could cause for the baby, but I know when I was in the first trimester I couldn't clean up anything (accident-wise) after my puppy because of the smell. It made me so nauseous! I would have to run to the bathroom and open the window to try and not be sick!!! Good luck though... I made my husband do most of the dirty work!!!

It would be worse if you weren't!

I think it's mainly cats that cause risks of toxoplasmosis, but wear gloves anyway and wash your hands...not that you don't! But you should be fine :)

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
